Juan López was founded in 1870 by Spanish businessman Juan López Díaz.

The cigars are produced in a factory in Havana at the address “Calle de los Dragones” /street of the dragons/. Although little known today in the world, Juan López has always attracted the most special among Habanos fans. In 2019, it was re-categorized as a local brand.

The range of Juan López cigar sizes offers fully hand-rolled cigars, with a long filler and a woody aftertaste. Categorized by strength: medium to strong.

The brand is very preferred for regional releases.

Juan Lopez Lancero Adriatico has been chosen as the Edicion Regional for 2023. The release is in the iconic Lancero size ring 40 x length 192 mm and is offered in a box of 10 vitolas, in a limited production of 6,000 individually numbered boxes. The cigars are entirely handmade with a long filler of leaves from Vuelta Abajo in the Pinar del Rio region. This region is known as the best for growing tobacco.
