The Herederos vitola was specially created to celebrate the 85th anniversary of the Montecristo brand and to mark the 30th anniversary of the global franchise chain La Casa del Habano. Herederos is presented in a special box containing 20 cigars with an additional ring.

Montecristo is the best known and, perhaps, one of the most appreciated of the Habanos brands and is considered by many to be the benchmark for Habanos flavour. Its name had its origins in the novel The Count of MonteCristo, by Alexandre Dumas, enormously popular among cigar rollers from the H. Upmann factory in Havana, where the brand was founded in 1935.
Montecristo's historical portfolio, which was initially solely composed of vitolas 1 to 5, was progressively expanded to include an offer that covers all of the most demanding smokers' tastes. In this regard, and within the brand's portfolio, we can highlight the incorporation in 2004 of a new vitola, Edmundo (52 ring gauge x 135 mm length), which covered the trend for heavy ring gauges. This was supplemented two years later with the Petit Edmundo (52 ring gauge x 110 mm length), thus creating Lнnea

Edmundo, which grew in 2013 with the arrival of a new vitola, Double Edmundo (50 ring x 155 mm length) so smokers can enjoy all the aromas and flavours of the line's classic blend in a smoking time of around an hour.
The Montecristo Herederos vitola has been selected by Habanos, S.A. to Ccommemorate the 85 years of the brand and the 30th anniversary of La Casa del Habano franchise network in 2020. Herederos is presented in a special case of 20 Habanos, parejos, and is exclusively marketed by La Casa del Habano and Habanos Specialists franchise network.

These Habanos have been made “Totalmente a mano con tripa larga” - Totally Handmade with Long Filler - after painstaking selection of the wrapper, filler and binder leaves from vegas in the most prestigious area, Vuelta Abajo, in the region of Pinar del Rio, Cuba, and produced by expert Cuban torcedores - cigar rollers.
