24 November 2016, Sofia. In a festive and stylish manner the tenth Grand Party Habanos 2016 was held by Kaliman Caribe Ltd. The company announced that in cooperation with Habanos is the official importer and exclusive distributor for Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia.
More than 400 guests were part of the anniversary celebrating the iconic Cohiba brand. Traditionally, the evening was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba - Mr. Pedro Pablo San Jorje Rodriguez, as well as one of the Habanos directors Thomas Marco Dominguez. They awarded the most distinguished connoisseurs and aficionados for 2016. The event had a strong international presence and for the first time in the history of the Habanos awards the Habanos Lady prize was given to a lady from Albania. The provocative RnB artist Yavor Yanakiev “100 KILA” was awarded in the Habanos Communication category. Among the special guests of the event were representatives of the political elite, cultural circles and celebrities among which was the internationally renowned US actor Anthony Mackie.
The impressive start of the evening was given by Arabesque ballet performance under the fascinating "Carmen" by G. Bizet. Maria Ilieva was the star of the event and reconfirmed the stylish atmosphere of the party. The Cuba Libre cocktails matched well with the Cuban rhythms to elevate the mood of the guests.
All guests were able to learn more about the exclusive products of the evening - Cohiba Medio Siglo and Cohiba Majestuosos. It was a great honor for the guests to follow live the art of torcedor who came from the Cohiba factory El Laguito. Carlos Miguel, master 9th grade showed with actions how to make some Habanos masterpieces. Especially for the occasion was presented the collaboration between Cohiba and Zenith - the unique El Primero Chronomaster 1966 Cohiba edition, created in ultra limited quantities and intended for true connoisseurs.
Cohiba Medio Siglo debut was presented to the guests. This vitola is in addition to Siglo Line in a new format that conforms to the modern trends. It suits the Line as standard edition in short modern format and medium to strong taste. It is presented in two versions: a box with 25 pieces, as well as in 3 aluminum tubes pack.
Cohiba Majestuosos is the other cigar that was presented at the event. It`s the first edition for the 50th anniversary of Cohiba with exclusive production - exactly 1966 humidors for the whole world. Branded with additional anniversary ring, Cohiba Majestuosos is a cigar with an innovative format with a length of 150 mm and ring 58, solid caliber and exquisite flavor. It has a strong taste territory, suitable for the lovers of intense and complex aromas. The edition is presented in an exclusive humidor with 20 cigars in elegant and simple craftsman line, a curved profile with a stylized vintage line of 60s, covered with ten layers of brilliant lacquer.
Habanos Night Grand Party 2016 is organized by Kaliman Caribe in order to reinforce the Habanos culture in Bulgaria and announce the latest in the company's portfolio for the year.
