Description
When you think of the French Revolution, one of the first ideas that comes to mind is the guillotine. But make no mistake, this revolution, launched in 2015 at LES FINES LAMES, was born from the union of two passions, one for knives and one for the world of cigars. A cigar lover for a decade and enlightened by his grandfather in the production of the French cutlery tradition, Pierre Jourdan, the founder of the brand, presented in 2015 a cigar knife called L'ORIGINAL. For three years, Pierre built the brand's solid image event after event by sponsoring the World Smoking Championship. In 2018, Pablo Rodet joined the team, with whom the French group decided to pursue the challenge of creating a unique premium cigar knife, 100% made in France, with a compact size and a competitive price. The product that made the brand famous is undoubtedly the Les Fines Lames LE PETIT cigar knives. They are made in the French capital of cutlery, Thiers, and like them, each blade is made from 14C28N stainless steel, which is an anti-corrosion metal and guarantees you eternal quality. Today, the brand makes multiple versions of its cigar knife.
The COMPASS series will take you on a journey to the most famous cigar producing regions of the Caribbean. With the combination of beautiful wooden handles and engraved vintage maps and coats of arms, these Le Petit are truly unique cigar knives. The finely engraved antique map of the island of Cuba on the blade and the ziricote handle create a harmonious and attractive combination. The exotic and superb ziricote is found in southern Mexico and Central American countries such as Belize and Guatemala. Its beautiful texture and strength make it a preferred material for making musical instruments.
