Description
With roots dating back to 1848, Vauen is the longest-standing pipe manufacturer in Germany. It owes its stunning success to guaranteed quality and a philosophy of balancing tradition and adventurous spirit. Their innovative ideas give rise to a “passion that unites people”! The company is the creator of the activated carbon paper filter, which is quickly becoming a key feature of over 90% of pipes produced today.
The Burgund line was created in honor of the rich wine culture and history of one of the most famous regions in modern France, namely Burgundy. The combination of two natural materials such as briar and cork is simply perfect proof of Vauen’s skillful work in the field of finish and accents. In the timeless matte finish of the bowl, subtle burgundy shades can be seen interspersed in a smoky brown varnish. The ring is made of dense grained cork placed between thin metal rings. All this guarantees you a first-class appearance.
