The Tuerca line features a modern and timeless industrial design. Its name comes from Spanish and means a nut that dominates in the form of a decorative ring, and to complement this composition thematically, Vauen added the perfect companion to the pipe - a tamper shaped like a bolt. The cup's smooth matte finish, the result of hours of hand-crafting, is addictive to the touch. The unique design and masterful execution was awarded an innovation award in the pipe category at the Inter Tabac international exhibition in Dortmund, Germany.
Vauen uses a light gray dot that it places on the mouthpiece of the pipe to indicate the extremely high quality of the briar used to make it.
