2026 - The Year of Cohiba

09.03.2026

2026 marks the beginning of an extraordinary chapter in Cohiba’s history, commemorating a year that honours six decades of mastery, character, and international prestige. The Cohiba Year unfolds as a journey through the brand’s past, present, and future, offering a carefully curated program of refined experiences and initiatives that reflect the spirit, culture, and vision that define Cohiba.

From its origins as exclusive gift, to its position as a global benchmark, Cohiba’s history is defined by vision, expertise, and unparalleled prestige. Each chapter reinforces its status not only as a leader, but as the ultimate reference in the Habanos universe.

Linea Clasica

The origin and the benchmark. These historic vitolas offer the purest expression of the brand’s character, defined by balance, structure, and its distinctive fermentation process. They remain the foundation of the Cohiba style.

Linea 1492

Launched in 1992 to mark the 500th anniversary of Columbus’ arrival in Cuba. Known for its medium strength, it began international distribution in 1994. The Siglo series offers a refined, harmonious evolution of Cohiba, and for the brand’s 50th anniversary, the vitola Medio Siglo was added to the line.

Linea Maduro

Unveiled in 2007 as a flagship product, its standout feature is the use of a dark wrapper aged through a meticulous five-year fermentation process, giving the cigars a distinctive appearance within the Cohiba line. Maduro 5 maintains the precision and elegance Cohiba is known for, while adding extra depth to the smoking experience.

Linea Behike

Officially presented in 2010, the Behike vitola, with unique dimensions, was first debuted in 2006, during the celebration of the 40th anniversary of Cohiba. On that occasion, 40 humidors containing 100 Habanos each were produced exclusively by the renowned cigar roller Norma Fernández. It was incorporated as a regular line within the Cohiba brand in 2010, with three vitolas. As a distinctive element of this line, the Medio Tiempo leaf was introduced for the first time in the blend, a leaf that comes from the Coronas, the upper part of the sun-grown tobacco plant, and whose production is scarce. The Línea Behike stands out as one of the most original Habanos of all time, and since its launch it has been highly appreciated and greatly valued by experts and collectors, thanks to its complex aromatic and flavor profiles.

Currently, Behike features four vitolas, with the BHK 58 being the most recent addition.
