Gérard Bertrand is one of the most prominent winemakers in the South of France, owning numerous properties in the most prestigious crus of Languedoc - Roussillon. Known as the King of Languedoc, Bertrand produces stunning wines that showcase the diversity of the terroirs of the South of France.

The Languedoc appellation stretches along the Mediterranean coast from the Spanish border to the city of Nîmes, along the foothills of the Montagne Noir and the Cévennes. The soils are varied, mainly limestone and schist, but also with gravel coming from the rivers of the Languedoc region. The warm, windy climate helps the grapes to ripen in good, healthy condition, preserving all their fresher qualities thanks to the altitude and the influence of the sea, which relieves the scorching summer heat.

Gérard Bertrand Côte des Roses Rosé is an elegant and fresh rosé from the Languedoc region of southern France, which is distinguished not only by its taste, but also by its unique bottle – with a rose carved into the glass bottom.

• Vinification: The different grape varieties are harvested separately when each is at an ideal level of ripeness. The grapes are cooled to 8 ° C and transferred to the press to extract the wine must. Fermentation lasts between 15 and 30 days, depending on the degree of clarification and temperature.
