Description
Nomad Outland Whiskey Reserve breaks the rules of the Scotch whiskey world. While it is common for sherry casks to be sent to Scottish distilleries, Nomad does the opposite by sending a blend of spirits to Spain, initially aged for 6 years in American oak casks, followed by two further stages of maturation. Then it matures for two years in Jerez de la Frontera in the same Pedro Jimenez sherry casks, and the following 2 years in Oloroso sherry casks. During this unconventional maturation process, the whiskey takes on a unique character. On the palate, it presents itself as a subtle complexity of flavors evoking associations with honey, raisins and sherry, enjoying a long, delicious finish.
Nomad Outland Whiskey Reserve is a unique premium whiskey with great intuition that combines the characteristics of Scotch malt with the elegance of sherry. It pleases the eye with a beautiful topaz color with clear flashes. It intrigues with its specific bouquet, in which you can feel the aromas of malt, wood and sherry.
