Kaliman Caribe and Habanos continued the modern history of Cuban cigars with the presentation of the second cigar edition, especially for Bulgaria – La Gloria Cubana Via Balcanica Exclusivo Bulgaria. The vitola has the ambition to surpass the success of the first Bulgarian edition cigar Bolivar 681, launched in 2011.
The very message of the name is conceptually tied to the 25 Habanos-inspired years that Kaliman Caribe celebrates. It brings the typical regional edition ring of Exclusivo Bulgaria, with an addition for the 25th anniversary script – 25 anos Inspiracion Kaliman Caribe. The cigar is made in the highest 9th level of art in torcedor craftsmanship. The vitola also impresses with its outstanding dimensions – length 160 mm and ring 50. The gallery is Magnum 50, medium strength. The presentation is in a stylish bordeaux red box with 10 cigars each.
The prestigious event was held in the royal atmosphere of the Royal Palace of Vrana in the presence of genuine Habanos fans, including international guests from over 8 countries. The mood of the attendees was raised by selected performers, who spread the spirit and rhythms of Cuba along the Bulgarian latitudes. From the heart of the Cuban oasis, along the wonderful lanes of the Balkans La Gloria Cubana Via Balcanica, or in translation "The Cuban glory on the roads of the Balkans" was graciously accepted by all guests who had the exclusive opportunity to taste it.
The brand was founded in 1885, and the name La Gloria Cubana clearly defines its origin in itself. It has attracted and been preferred by connoisseurs and avid Habanos admirers for more than a century. All cigars are exceptionally elegant, entirely handmade and long filled. The selection of tobacco grown in the Vuelta Abajo region, is classified as medium strength and offers well-balanced blend of taste and aroma.
The cigars are manufactured at the Partagas factory in Havana to this day. Thanks to its production excellence, La Gloria Cubana is very often selected for regional editions, and at present they number more than 15. The Bulgarian finest fuse – Via Balcanica Exclusivo Bulgaria – finds its well-deserved place among the selection.
