Undurraga Winery was founded in 1885 by Francisco Undurraga Vicuña in Fundo Santa Ana, 34 km. from the capital of Chile – Santiago. Today, the winery owns plantations in the best and most famous wine-growing valleys in Chile. The production is enough to make an average of 25 million bottles.

Undurraga owns approximately 1,350 hectares of vineyards located in the best wine-producing regions in Chile. The estates are dedicated to the cultivation and production of the best grape varieties. The vineyards are located in the Maipo, Colchagua, Almahu, Lleida in San Antonio and Maule valleys. Each of these locations is carefully selected by the winemaking teams based on the potential for growing the different varieties.

Undurraga Aliwen Cabernet Sauvignon is part of the Aliwen Reserva series of the Chilean winery Viña Undurraga, one of the oldest and most respected in Chile. This wine was created with the idea of ​​combining strength and elegance, inspired by the nature and culture of the local Mapuche people.

• Origin: Maipo Valley / Central Valley, Chile
• Varietals: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon
• Alcohol: 13.5%
• Vinification: Hand-picked. Cold maceration for 48 hours on about 40-50% of the grapes. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 7-10 days at a temperature starting from 18 ºC and reaching 30 ºC.
• Aging: 70% of the wine is aged for 9 months in second and third use French and American oak barrels.
• Color: Deep ruby ​​red
• Serving temperature: 16-18 ºC

Aroma: Ripe black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry), cherry, with hints of vanilla, chocolate and light smoke
Taste: Full and soft, with well-structured tannins, hints of black pepper, oak and ripe fruits. The finish is long and slightly spicy
