The Chopin Distillery and its surrounding buildings date back to the 18th century. The estate covers 35 acres, located in the picturesque village of Krzesk, a pristine region in eastern Poland known for its abundance of natural resources.
Made from the world’s first aged, super-premium special variety of young potatoes, planted during the 2016 growing season in the rich, dark soil of the estate surrounding the distillery.
The potatoes are harvested while still young, resulting in a sweeter flavour profile with delicate earthy notes.
The spirit is then left undisturbed in fifty-year-old Polish oak barrels for two years to allow it to mature and mellow before being hand-bottled.
All potatoes used in Family Reserve are naturally grown without chemicals or pesticides on the Chopin distillery’s estate.
Ideal for consumption chilled neat, with ice, in martinis or cocktails.
